The Middletown Township Historical Society on occasion lends collections that are displayed in the library's History Room. Our collection of glass insulators are on exhibit through July, 2026.
On long term display in the History Room is the original painting "The Middletown Militia Secures their Prize" by artist Steve Schreiber. The painting is based on an article by Maureen Foster, which was published in Monmouth Timeline. Monmouth Timeline commissioned and graciously donated the artwork to us. LIMITED TIME: Prints are available for sale by the artist, and when you use code MTHS you will receive a discount and a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Middletown Township Historical Society.
